Description
This photograph is from inside the Ljubjanska bank in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina). This building became iconic on newscasts during the Balkans war. It was infamously used during the 1990s conflict as a snipers’ vantage point. It was also memorable due to it’s exterior being covered in glass and mirrors, now it is just an abandoned concrete shell that still stands as a reminder of those years of turmoil.
Julia visited here in 2009 during the Abandoned? Project journey.
